I thought this was an interesting way of displaying words that start with the letter "A". I like how all of the words bleed off of the "A" but each word is different with different fonts to represent what each word is.

This is a picture of typefcae that looks very vintage. When I think of the word "bloom" I think of pretty spring flowers. I thought this was an interesting way to express type through a shadow. The letters really pop out. If you just look at the shadow you think that the words are bright and colorful just like flowers are, but then you look at the standing letters and they are all rusted. This reminds me of a picture that was taken a long time ago.

Hierarchy Project

For the Hierarchy Project I have decided to work with Baskerville. I did my presentation on 'Centaur' and thought about continuing with Centaur but when I remember about Baskerville I wanted to work with it. I think Baskerville is a very unique typeface. I used Baskerville for my Grid Project on my brochure, it was the perfect type. Baskerville's "Q" is so unique and I would love to pull the "Q" into my poster in some way... I was thinking having the tail come in from the top lft and bottom right edges, we will see when I continue to think about and create my 3 versions of the Baskerville poster!!
