Self Identity Collage #2

The word 'truth' has not as much white in the background. This was the second to last process before the final.

Self Identity Collage #2

I worked on the font of the words. Making 'pain' extend like that makes it look like she is screaming the words. But, I still to make the other words look like they are screaming.

Self Identity Collage #2

I added a little red in the back. This is just a view of what colors I am going to use.

Self Identity Collage #2

"Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it and life always makes more."
I took a whole new meaning to this collage. This was more of like a "scarier" theme. I wanted it to look like it was coming from her mouth.

Final- Self Identity Collage #1

Here is the final outcome. I trimmed around the word 'cannot' and made her stand on the word Yourself.
I am pleased with the final outcome.

Self Identity Collage #1

I decided to put white behind the word cannot and have Kelly standing on the word Yourself.

Self Identity Collage #1

Then I decided to go back to the original design, but instead put 'cannot' in red and 'yourself' in cut out. I thought having it the other it took away from the word yourself.

Self Identity Collage #1

Then I decided to put a painted background to it. I though this was too much and took away the person so you couldnt see her as much.

Self Identity Collage #1

"You cannot belong to anyone else until you belong yourself"

This was the very first idea I had in mind for this collage. I had 'cannot' as a magazine cut out and 'yourself' in red letters with a kind of star background. I didnt know if I was happy with this. It changed many times.

Metamorphasis

The last three steps in progress.

Metamorphasis

Here is a view of the first 3 out of 6 steps.

Metamorphasis

I metamorphed aerosal can into the world. Aerosal is bad for the ozone layer and out environment. Here are my steps. I was having trouble with the last couple of steps but in the end got through them!

Final 9- Grid Project

This is my final for the 9- Grid. I had to change positions of some of my squares to meet the deadlines. I am happy with the turn out of this project.

9- Grid Project

In the 9 grid project.. First we started out with 16 3"X 3" squares with 3-D objects in them. All squares had to be objects arranged differently. Then we had to pick the 9 you thought were the best for the final. This is a picture of my Final 9 that I picked. This is a picture of one of my steps for the Final.

Shape Project

I cut the square into many "mini" triangles. As I put them in place, it came to look like a bat gammon board.... pretty cool, I thought

Shape Project

This is a closer up of the fourth image. I like this better because it makes the viewer feel closer and helps the image to stand out more.

Shape Project

This was the fourth one out of the four that we had to do. The directions were to cut the square and allow the viewer to recognize that you used the square. I allowed you to be able to know I worked from a square by leaving the edges.

Shape Project

The idea of this project was to take a 4 X 4 square and cut it into as many pieces you want. Then you take the pieces and arrange them in some way on a piece of paper... you have to use ALL the pieces you cut, without allowing the viewer to notice that it was a square.

Mark Project

This "mark" was going off the page, slanted and cursive. A fun way of drawing my name.

Mark Project

This is a fun one to look at, my last name was the inspiration. I thought it would be neat to do different sizes bold/ skinny/ sideways/ upright

Mark Project

For the Mark Project, each mark was inspired by our name. In this I painted my name going around like a circle upside down and backwards. The fading. bold gives the marks character.
